Huckleberry Hound is an anthropomorphic dog and a member of the Yogi Yahooeys.

Physical appearance[]

He wears a hat and a red bow tie. In the Laff-A-Lympics he also wears a orange team shirt with a "Y" on it.

Personality[]

Huckleberry is a a good-natured and laid-back hound dog who speaks with a distinctive Southern drawl. Compared to some of the other members of his team, he's more mellow and less likely to boast about his talents. One of his favorite activities is singing "Oh My Darling, Clementine" to himself, although he doesn't seem to notice how off-key he sounds. Huck is a gentle soul through and through and is always someone to count on.

  • Despite not wearing his hat while playing in the Laff-a-Lympics games, some Marvel Comics depict him wearing his hat.
  • Huckleberry was the first member of the Yahooeys to participate in the first event of the series.

Appearances in other media[]

Originally, Huckleberry comes from The Huckleberry Hound Show created in 1958 by Hanna-Barbera debuting with Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks as well as Yogi Bear (later replaced with Hokey Wolf in 1961).
