Notes/Trivia[]
- Mumbly has the most speaking roles out of any of the three team captains in the series, having twenty-two in total compared to Yogi's twenty-one and Scooby's seventeen.
Appearances in other media[]
Despite his strong resemblance to Muttley of the Wacky Races, Mumbly has his own history. He was originally Lieutenant Mumbly, a heroic police detective from The New Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape/Mumbly Show. He differs from Muttley because he has light ears instead of black, and because he is more of a leader. The Dread Baron, a dopplegänger of Dick Dastardly, is his follower, rather than the other way around.
