Roger Rankle was a temporary replacement announcer for the Laff-a-Lympics.

He is rude and abrasive, insulting the players every time he talks about them.
History[]
The players were unhappy when the network fired Snagglepuss and Mildew Wolf and brought Rankle in to replace them. Eventually, Yogi Bear went to the studio in disguise and got the network to make Rankle the star of a new TV series, clearing the way for the former announcers to come back.
